The councilman of Culture visits during the rehabilitation works of the Temple of San Juan Bautista
The rehabilitation of the church of San Juan Bautista "in Alquerías is well under way and it has been seen in situ the Councillor for Culture and European Programmes, Fatima Barnuevo, who has visited this morning the course of the works are being undertaken in Stables Church.

- Fixed support the nave roof and replacement of Colan.

Injections have been made to carry out concrete construction of the new sacristy.
- The interior vaults have been conditioned to make use of them in the future.
The creation of a museum is one of the initial ideas to carry out one of the vaults.
- Some of the paintings located in the scallops and the altarpiece of the church are now being restored.
The Councillor for Culture, Fátima Barnuevo, stressed that the historical, artistic and cultural life of town is key to Murcia and Murcia, and we are forced to put more in value for generations to come can use it and enjoy it.
The amount of the rehabilitation work of the Church of San Juan Bautista de Alquerías amounts to a total of 1,023,179.41 euros.
The parties to this agreement agree to finance the amount equivalent to 75.57% of the total.
