Jorge Losana lead the new Coral, consisting of 35 singers, on Friday 28 in the Academic Act of Santo Tomás de Aquino.

The University Choir rehearses every Monday from 20 to 22 hours in the theater, located on the Campus of La Merced, in the premises of the Cultural Service of the University, and is open to any member of the community university.
The repertoire includes music of all styles and periods, from Baroque and Renaissance music to rock 60's, musicals, gospel and world music.
Almost half a century
Murcia University Choir was founded in 1966, with Enrique Gonzalez Semitiel as director, and since then have been many who have been enjoying your music: orchestra programs, European tours, recording albums and stage productions.
Other directors have been Juan Cano Conesa, José Luis López García, Cesar Palazón, Mabel Breis, Luis Egio Vallejo, Emilio Cano Molina and Carmen Contreras Fernandez, director of the University Choir until last year.
Jorge Lausanne has been a director of various choirs from Murcia, among which are the Choir of the Cathedral Schola Cantorum or Alfonso X El Sabio. "
He currently heads the Vocal Group and Choir Cororao Education.
He trained as a choir director in Mannheim (Germany), and is currently studying Singing and Choir in Higher and Professional Conservatory of Murcia and Music Education at the University of Murcia.
Since October 2010 is the chief conductor of the Choir of the University of Murcia.
