The Department of Sports, headed by Miguel Cascales, offers Tai Chi classes every weekend outdoors, free.
The activity was held in the Plaza de Santo Domingo, from 11 am to 12.30 pm, Saturdays and Sundays.
The activity is free and does not require registration to practice enough to join any group.
Persons wishing to perform this activity will have to carry shoes and comfortable clothes.
Tai Chi is a Chinese discipline recommended for people of all ages that allows the integrated development of body and mind providing personal balance, harmony and serenity.
It is a discipline that improves flexibility and helps to reduce heart problems, hypertension, arthritis, sclerosis, depression, etc..
The Tai Chi outdoors, in parks and plazas, is part of the global movement for Physical Education and Sport for All, UNESCO promotes the World Health Organization and the International Olympic Committee with the aim of reducing rates sedentary and improve the quality of life of the population.
