PSOE spokesman, Alfonso Navarro, expressed his concern again because at this point the local government has failed to submit the municipal budget for 2011debido to poor economic management that places the City in a very critical situation for the waste of the past years.

"It is clear that local PP is unable to balance the books for this year," said Navarro, who warns that this disability is affecting the lives of Murcia in respect of investments that the City intends to implement this year in the municipality.

Also, says Navarro, the liquidity problems of the municipal coffers forced the local government to consider applying for a new loan of EUR 45 million for cash costs, operating and running costs.

However, in this sense, the Socialist spokesman recalled that the City is in a situation of legal supervision by the Ministry of Economy and Finance for violating its commitments to municipal debt and deficit that does not allow borrowing.
