The actions planned for 2011 and the work schedule of the committee have been some items on the first meeting
The City Commission of Gender Equality, chaired by the Deputy Mayor for Social Welfare Policy Equality and Citizenship María del Carmen Pelegrin, this week held the founding meeting of commission and, therefore, the first meeting of 2011.
This Commission, which involved municipal staff designated by each of the departments, the function of carrying out monitoring and evaluation of the degree of compliance with the measures, development of the principle of equal opportunities between genders, included in the Municipal Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, which was approved last year, and which is involved the whole of the Municipal Corporation.
At the meeting this week has found the degree of compliance and evaluation of the 138 performances scheduled for development during 2010 in the Municipal Plan of Equality, which involved the Department headed by Pelegrin, over 60% .
Also worked on the programming of the activities planned for this year 2011 and the work schedule of the commission.
