Two containers with school supplies and medical supplies and food left from last week Espinardo campus to the capital of Mauritania, Nouakchott, in a convoy organized by various institutions and humanitarian organizations.
The containers, which take about a month to reach its destination, will be delivered in Boudh district in the suburbs of the capital of Mauritania.
The University of Murcia, which was represented at the ceremony by the president, José Antonio Cobacho, and the Vice Chancellor for Business and Infrastructure, Antonio Calvo-Flores, has received one of these containers, desks, chairs and other furniture, which will be used to a training school.
The event was also attended by the Director General of Planning, Evaluation and Environmental Control, Francisco Espejo, and representatives of other partners, such as sports association "Rutamotor" and the NGO "Equal."
