Four weekly markets will move from area to improve safety and accessibility (23/12/2010)

The Department of Decentralization, which directs Christopher Smith, will continue next year the project to improve and refurbish the spaces where weekly markets are located in neighborhoods and districts of the municipality.

Thus, as has been done this year to market the Greater Santiago, Santa María de Gracia and Churra, in 2011 changed the area of El Palmar, La Alberca, Casillas and toes in order to improve accessibility and their security.

Currently exist in the municipality of Murcia a total of 53 markets that take place in neighborhoods and districts of Murcia, with a total of 2,871 posts.

Similarly, the Department of Decentralization maintain subsidies that will manage the various municipal boards of neighborhoods and districts

From the Department of Decentralization and Markets continue making a significant effort in order to maintain the economic contributions that are earmarked for municipal boards of neighborhoods and districts.
