The value of each scholarship is estimated at 1,500 euros to what must be added 2,000 of the production costs of the exhibition also participate in meetings with six dedicated photographers
Puertas de Castilla Center and the Association of Murcia Cienojos made a call for photographic training grants for the year 2011.
Participants whose proposals are selected will have the opportunity to develop for a year, accompanied by a team of tutors and guest photographers, view their work regularly and guide them to make it evolve.
The best projects are part of an itinerant collective exhibition will be accompanied by their respective publication.
During the year 2011 The Greenhouse will organize a training and mentoring program to support new photographic skills with the aim of providing participants with theoretical and practical support necessary to address and successfully complete a draft author.
The program is based on a blended training model in which participants will develop a photographic project independently, supported and supervised by a group of tutors from different disciplines in the world of photography, with whom he maintained a series of regular meetings.
To complete their learning, students will also have meetings with authors of photographs dedicated to share with them their creative and help them improve their work.
At the end of the learning process, the team of tutors will select 5 of the best work done by participants during the year for a final exhibition project at the Center Gates Castilla de Murcia.
The Greenhouse is a proposal open to all photographers of any age and nationality, who are willing to work for a year in developing a personal project and attend a monthly training session.
In developing its training program, The Conservatory will in 2011 with a team of five permanent guardians and invited six photographers.
The team of tutors is made up of five people from Murcia, all related to photography, but from different areas:

Each scholarship will cover all costs of training and mentoring photo of the participants, whose value is estimated at 1,500 €.
Likewise, the grant will finance the production costs of the final project photo exhibition, with its own catalog, valued at € 2,000 per person for the 5 participants who pass final phase of it.
May be submitted photographers of any nationality and any age.
Participants must show their photographic skills and have a fluent command of Spanish.
Those interested in participating in the 2011 emissions must submit a dossier setting out a project proposal, a brief CV and a portfolio presentation in a single digital document, pdf format, 50 mb maximum.
Only allowed one project participant.
Under no circumstances will accept projects that do not attach the documents mentioned below:
a) Proposal:
- Title of project (may be changed later.)
- Project Summary (10-20 lines): overview of the project and how it deals with its development.
- Justification (10 - 20 lines): how the idea of the project and the motivations that drive it.
- Some pictures taken by applicants who act as sketches of what will be the project.
These images are not definitive character, only proposals that will help the jury better understand the author's aesthetic approach.
b) Curriculum (1 page maximum):
- Full name.
- Place and date of birth.
- Studies.
- Professional experience.
- Web page / blog / personal online album.
- Copy of the NIF, NIE or Passport.
c) Portfolio: selection of 10-20 images belonging to earlier work by the author, accompanied by a brief description of them.
