The rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, announced today the Governing Council of the adjustment that will take place in the rectory computer to enhance the management of funds received from the calls of the Campus of International and INNOCAMPUS that account for almost twelve million euros.
Cobacho noted that the current Vice President of Research, Juan María Vázquez, will handle the Campus of Excellence, without abandoning the responsibility it has taken so far.
Also, the coordinator of the Vice President Gaspar Ros will be appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor Research in an operation, said the rector, "is made with restraint criteria and to achieve more effective management of these funds."
The Rector reported on the status of university finances, which are being affected because today the autonomous community college due to fifty million euros.
Cobacho expressed his hope that the economic situation of the Community to improve and that the University may well be free of these difficulties.
