Urban management has computerized its records in order to enable citizens to see their projects through the website management.
This service will be launched on 22 December.
The public can access, free from any computer, partial plans, detailed studies, compensation boards, land subdivision projects, etc..
This project began in 2008 with the aim of fulfilling the legal requirements to provide information to citizens.
Since then 87,890 files were introduced with a total storage size of 1,372 GB, and scanned paper surface of 12,283 meters square.
The file continues to grow each day.
Information on the General Urban Plan is divided into zoning and plans where you can find PGOU planes at different scales (1:25.000, 1:10.000, 1:2.000, etc), and other documents that include historical information Chest (Special Plan a Historic) and archaeological sites.
As for development tools for planning and management, has digitized the entire Urban Information file (both flat and documentation of projects approved and in force) and has been internally developing a web application that allows access to the content of these projects both by authorized officials and by citizens via the Internet.
This is the first completely digital file, which also includes paper records barcodes and radio frequency tags (RFID) so that control which document is entering or leaving the file and if you have previously authorized the move, giving an alarm when trying to get the file record if not authorized.
It also has a mobile terminal that allows us to locate records in any office that may be just passing by in the folder, to inventory and security issues.
The information is provided in PDF and is developing a GIS environment for the City intranet and Internet for the public.

From January 2006 until November 2010, citizens have been 23.9 million hits on the website of the Planning Department.
There have been 3.1 million page views, with an average of 1,795 page views a day.
Among the most visited pages are consolidated planning requirements tailored to the regional General Plan and planning regulations adapted to the regional legislation.
