The aim is to create a network of volunteers engaged eColíderes in their cities, schools and natural areas
Sixteen young students of the IES Murcia Fleet, Alquibla, Aljada and Juan Carlos I is formed as ecolíderes with other young people from Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Estonia, Portugal and Finland.
These students represent more than 300 young students in their schools are involved in the project eColideramos Youth, funded by the European Commission, whose mission is to help preserve the environment, saving energy spread and influence their environment to protect the environment and combat climate change.
The main objective is to create a network of young eColíderes exercising volunteers in their cities, schools and natural areas.
A total of 42 young people participate in the international training course for youth leaders for the environment: eColíderes, held from 16 to 19 December in the CEMACAM (Center for Environmental Education in the MAC in Torreguil).
The Councillor for Education and Youth, María Dolores Sánchez, Director General of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity, Pablo Fernández, and the Director of the CAM, Ángel Martínez has participated this morning in the activities being developed by young people.
Participants will learn techniques to lead the defense strategies of the environment.
It aims to train leaders, youth leaders, youth workers in dynamic non-formal education, with emphasis on environmental protection, including young people in difficulty and young people and democracy.
Young people are participating in workshops on environment, hiking, environmental projects being undertaken, workshops, media (radio, television, blog and photo) and leadership workshops.
Also on Saturday from 9.30 am will develop communication workshop with journalists from Murcia and youth will have the opportunity to showcase their environmental projects to the media.
This seminar is part of the international project 'Youth eColideramos' organized by the departments of Environment and Urban Quality, and Education and Youth, supported by CAM, CEMACAM, Directorate General of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity, Environmental Volunteer Program, Red Nature Classroom, schools and associations in the municipality's Youth Environmental and municipality, and the support of the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission.

The project is to train young people across Europe who have a change of attitudes and behaviors to involve others in their environment in order to protect the environment, save energy and influence with their projects over the rest of society.
This is a seed for the preservation of the environment in cities.
This project targets youth who are pursuing formal education in schools and youth who have not completed compulsory education.
In total there were 3 international and 14 local (in participating schools in each city).
This initiative was launched in September and have already carried out activities to publicize the project in each participating city and have trained young people from each participating school.
In Murcia, has created a web page on the Portal Informajoven links with partners in the project and has designed a blog (http://ecolideramos.blogspot.com/) for participants to write their experiences.
Also took place in October in Murcia, an International Seminar on Exchange of Best Practices in which representatives of all European institutions participating in the project, to share experiences on environmental projects driven by young people.
The Councillors Adela Martinez-cache, and María Dolores Sánchez, exposed the large number of good environmental practices implemented in the municipality.
In addition, groups of young volunteers from the IES of the municipality have been trained in the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission, youth initiatives, projects, voluntary environmental, leadership and teamwork.
This training has involved more than 300 young people from Murcia.
Likewise, there has been a training course on environmental education and environmental volunteer in the classroom Arboretum Valley in November, and will be a training course which will involve 50 young people during March 2011 in the Classroom Alquerías Nature.
