The Department of Environment and Urban Quality, through the Office of the bicycle, will carry out a new initiative to strengthen and promote the use of bicycles.
This new program "Discover Murcia and enjoy cycling 'offers greater visibility and enhance the use and enjoyment of this means of transport through conducting guided tours.
The tours will be announced urban environmental aspects as well as the town marked Gentle Way recently.
In this way from the City of Murcia continues to focus on the use of bicycles as sustainable transportation and giving citizens the opportunity to interact with the city in a respectful and healthy.
Participation in all courses is free, but must register by calling 968212518 and places are limited.
The routes will be two Saturdays Saturday of each month from 10 to 14 hours and will be meeting with the monitor in Belluga Plaza, in front Moneo.
The proposed schedule is as follows:

- January 29 -> "The road Murcia-La Ñora friendly" A stroll through the lush garden along ditches and Aljufia Altafuego which will visit the Casianos Mill (siglo XVIII).
- February 12 -> "Bike-Solidarity" Day of solidarity for those most in need.
- February 26 -> "The road Murcia-Aljucer friendly" Itinerary through orange and mulberry trees along historic canals, stopping to view ancient mansions shields, the Cross of the Mayo and the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, in Baroque style .
- March 5 -> "Dress up and Pimp my bike."
Bike Carnival Celebration of this event through the city, also disguising the bike.
- March 19 -> "Father's Day: your dad a bike," A bike ride to celebrate family with special attention to the little kids and their parents to instill the importance of using the bike for the environment
- April 2 -> "The road Murcia-Monteagudo friendly" route between Azarbe Magnificent and orchards where you will visit the ruins of castles Castillejo and Larache and Monteagudo (XII century), and the fortifications Almoravids del Rey Lobo where she currently stands the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
