Urban trenching prohibited in public until 10 January (13/12/2010)

The aim is to facilitate pedestrian and vehicular traffic during the holidays

The Department of Urban prohibits trenching in the street in the period between 17 December to 10 January in the city and in villages.

The existing ditches will be closed to facilitate the movement of pedestrians and vehicles through the town during the holiday season.

Can only be digging trenches in case of failures in services or emergency.

The Planning Department has advised the companies that are doing work in Murcia the work stoppage during the holidays.
