The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, accompanied by President of the Federation of Peñas, Antonio Avilés, inaugurated this morning the new Plaza Bethlehem and the municipalities of the Region of Murcia from today can be visited on site huertano .
The Councillor for Fiestas, Rafael Gomez, has not missed an appointment, as well as the mayors Adela Martinez-Cacho, Jose Arce and Beatriz Hontoria.
Queens of the largest and child Huerta, Maria del Pilar Moreno and Paula Martínez Bastida, respectively, also attended the ceremony.
The Mayor stressed that the new Municipal Square is a tribute to the Federation of Peñas to the 45 localities that make up the region and at the same time, a recognition of the work performed by the municipalities to maintain the history and traditions of their people, including folklore and gastronomy.
