The School of Social Work at the University of Murcia held today, March 9, the International Day of Human Rights with a Day that includes, among other events, conference, symposium and awards ceremony of the Short Film Competition III Solidarity.
The conference, which will be offered at 12:00 hours, will be headed by Professor Teresa Vicente Giménez, who will speak on "Social Work and Human Rights."
The awards Solidarity Short Film Competition will take place an hour later, during a ceremony chaired by the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Francisco Guillermo Diaz, and the Dean of the Faculty, Enrique Pastor.
The day will conclude at 13:15 with the reading of the Manifesto in commemoration of Human Rights by students of that school.
