The XX Bands Contest Murcia City, held last weekend at the Auditorium Victor Villegas and La Alberca, already has winners.
Musical Art Society 'Philharmonic' in Callosa de Segura, in the first section, and Cultural Musician Association 'The Muses' of Guadalupe, the second section, have been chosen by the jury as winners in this year's competition.
In the first section was selected as second best band in the Union Association Musical 'Santa Cecilia' Caudete (Albacete), as a third of the Musical Union 'City of Assisi' (Alicante)
The second prize of the second section has been given to the Union Musical de Dolores (Alicante) while the third has received Agrupació Musical d'Agullent (Valencia).
The awards, according to section, are as follows:
First:

Second:
1 st Prize € 2300.00 ...

The jury was composed by Jose Miguel Rodilla Tortajada (principal conductor of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Murcia and Professor of Conducting at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia), Juan Jesús López Sandoval Calasparra (Composer and conductor Consultation and Teaching and Conducting at the Conservatory of Music in Manchester) and Peter Soriano Guerrero (Lieutenant General of the Air Force, retired, and former Director of the Banda Music General Air Academy and School Military Music of Murcia)
