The Eighth International Best Practices held in Dubai
Murcia again received recognition in the environmental field.
In this case it was the United Nations has described as 'Best' Local Strategy to Combat Climate Change in the municipality.
This new logo has been given at the Eighth International Best Practices held in Dubai.
This rating means that the municipal plan for the environment are included in the Library Cities for a More Sustainable Future (habitat.aq.upm.es).
Also be incorporated in the Spanish publication of the Eighth Catalogue of Good Practices issued by the Ministry of Development.
In total 38 projects have been Spanish (selected from a total of 63 initial projects) that have participated in this competition being only fifteen, including Murcia, those who have received a rating of 'Best'.
Remember that the municipality has received several awards such as Award Green Flag City Manager, the seventh edition Sustainable City Award, Award for Energy (power transmission and distribution Aguas de Murcia), the Mobility Week Award, selected Award for Dubai - Dubai Award for Best Practice 2010, Globe nomination for City Sustainability Awards, recognizing "City of Forests" (WWF), the Award "Platinum Broom" and a Best Practices Award for Local Climate
