The International Festival of Youth Orchestras, organized by the University of Murcia, has been admitted as a full partner in the Spanish Association of Classical Music Festivals (FestClásica), a professional association that it brings together the music festivals important in our country are held in the various disciplines of early music, classical and contemporary.
The FIOJ is the first festival of the region that becomes part of this Association.
Born at the University of Murcia in the early 80's, the Festival has brought together along their XXIX edits to some of the best youth orchestras, not only in Spain but also the international scene.
His admission has occurred in a general assembly held in Segovia, and next to the Murcia festival, have been integrated into the Festival FestClásica "Sem Terras Shadow of Sacred Music do Baixo Alentejo (Portugal) and the International Music Series" Classic Guadix ".
The International Festival of Youth Orchestras joins with 38 festivals that were part of this important partnership from 13 Spanish regions and Portugal.
After a year since its founding, members of more than forty FestClásica Music Festival, organized annually more than 1500 concerts, and form a network of musical activities in which they operate thousands of artists and attended by hundreds of thousands of people throughout the national territory and Portuguese.
