The professor at the University of Murcia Maria Paz Villegas Perez has been elected president of the Ophthalmology Society of Murcia, the head of which was so far Eduardo Fernández Muñoz.

Perez Villegas Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Murcia, occupied until this election as vice president of the Society.

The organization celebrated throughout the year various scientific activities on the field of Ophthalmology and earlier this year held a conference was addressed by leading specialists presenting the latest advances in the solution of pathologies.
