European universities prepare teachers at the University of Murcia learning program (30/11/2010)

Professors from universities in the UK, Ireland Norway, Turkey and Poland are meeting today and tomorrow, day one, at the University of Murcia to prepare the leadership program for democratic citizens in European schools, to be held in July in 2011 under the coordination of the educational institution Murcia.

The rector of International Relations and Innovation, Pilar Arnaiz, opened the meeting in the Rector Building Soler and welcomed the participating teachers, who come from the universities of Oslo (Norway), College Dublin (Ireland), Selcuk (Turkey) Jagiellonian (Poland) and Canterbury Christ Church (Reno Kingdom).

The project, led by professor of the Faculty of Education Antonio Portela, is part of the Lifelong Learning Programme.
