| A conference and a journal monograph on the poet put culmination of events commemorating its centennial |
The University of Murcia close the year dedicated to Miguel Hernandez on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.
Exhibitions, lectures, debates and round tables have marked in 2010 dedicated to the immortal poet Orihuela, that next Thursday, December 2 will culminate with the presentation of a publication dedicated to the poet and a conference entitled "Miguel Hernandez, universal poet, a by Professor Francisco Javier Díez de Revenga.
The events will take place in the Hall of the Faculty of Arts and will begin at 11 am.
The publication is the Monteagudo, Journal of Spanish Literature, Spanish-American Literary Theory and Comparative Literature at the University of Murcia, which has included in its latest issue a monograph entitled "Miguel Hernandez, a hundred years later (1910-2010)" .
The monograph is coordinated by Professors Francisco Javier Díez de Revenga, Mariano de Paco, and includes articles on the life, history and current significance of the work of this poet, who has long had classic status.
The volume is led by two portraits signed by Mexican poets: Jorge Valdés Díaz-Vélez, and José María Espinosa.
The magazine is complete with the usual sections of the magazine, including the review of several books on Santa Teresa and San Juan de la Cruz, Carmen Conde, Arturo Barea, Denise Garcia and Juan Guerrero Ruiz.
