Murcia has been chosen to host the international tournament in Spain XXXVI Handball national team for men and X Memorial Sunday Barcenas.
This was announced this morning by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, and President of the Spanish Federation, Juan de Dios Román, who were accompanied by the Councillor for Sports, Miguel Cascales, executive director of the Federation, Manuel Maria Melendez and President of Murcia, Juan Francisco Cutillas.
House has indicated it will be a great opportunity to Murcia start 2011 with a tournament of its kind, and provides an important date in the sporting calendar, will also serve to give new impetus to the practice of handball in the municipality.
The competition was held at the Palacio de los Deportes of 7 to 9 January, with the participation of the senior national team of Belarus, Egypt, Montenegro and Spain.
To attend the meetings will go on sale a payment of 18 € for all games, while children under 14 years will enjoy free access.
Tickets can be purchased from December 13 to January 5 at the registration desk of the Palace of Sports, from 10 to 13 hours and from 17.30 to 19.30 hours.

Sunday Barcenas was a reference in the Spanish handball of all time.
He held several positions in the Federation, which was coach, principal coaches, international referee INEF professor of Madrid, the national coach and president of the Spanish Federation.
