Representatives from the University of Murcia and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) have held a meeting in the building of Convalescence to discuss future cooperation activities within the Campus of Excellence "Mare Nostrum", recently awarded the project submitted with the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena.

The project has received support and endorsement of numerous organizations and institutions in the Region of Murcia and beyond, among which is the CSIC.

The meeting took part the rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, along with other academic positions, and vice chairman, Juan José de Damborenea, and the director of the CEBAS, Carlos Garcia Izquierdo, among others.
