"For an education in equality" The Mayor of Murcia has left its message of rejection of violence against women in the booth on the Plaza de Santo Domingo (24/11/2010)

With the intention of showing their support and total and absolute rejection of violence, the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, left this morning his message against gender violence in the information booth, installed in the Plaza de Santo Domingo.

"For an education in equality" was the message on paper that House has left hanging in the anonymous figures of cork that have been placed beside the information booth on prevention resources and attention to gender violence.

The booth is another element of the work carried out by the Department of Social Welfare and Equal Opportunities Policy, which directs Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, in the fight against the mistreatment of women.

The citizen can obtain information from all actions and programs carried out in the city of Murcia against gender violence.
