With a procession through the streets of the city of Murcia end tomorrow, day 25, the festivities organized by the students of Art History at the University in memory of St. Eloy, the patron saint of goldsmiths.
The procession will leave at 12:15 hours from the Merced campus to get to the church of San Bartolomé, where they worship an image of San Francisco Eloy Salzillo work.
In the parish of St. Bartholomew's charges shall be appointed by 2010, which went to the person of Concepcion Garcia Gainza as Contrast True Honor, and the vice chancellors of the University of Murcia Francisco Guillermo Diaz and Maria Ángeles Esteban, Cofrades of Honor.
Previously, there will be celebrating the Mass of the positions in the University Chapel of La Merced and a chocolate tasting at this campus.
This festival, which was recovered a few years ago by Professor Jesús Rivas, has included the holding of conferences on the silverware, roundtables, visits to the Cathedral of Murcia and the presentation of the book "Studies of Silver."
