The Planning Department has taken a further step to carry out the extension of the Avenue of the Spanish Navy and connecting Fleet and Juan de Bourbon Kingdom of Murcia Avenue, at the height of the roundabout at Pepe Lucas.
The Board of the Town Planning Department has finally approved the draft direct occupation of the land required for road expansion.
The new avenue will be 530 meters long and two lanes with a landscaped central median and service roads.
This new road will complete the cross roads that have been made to unite the great ring road east of the city (Avenida de Los Dolores, Miguel Indurain and the Kingdom of Murcia Avenue), with different points of Juan de Borbon y Juan Carlos I.
In addition, The Executive Council also approved the project initially direct employment to obtain the land required for Phase 1 of the future Park East.
The park will occupy 500,000 square meters, is located near La Fica.
The direct employment project approved today by Planning provides for the obtaining of 200,000 square meters of land, which are between May Day and Miguel Indurain.
This space will become a cultural landmark new artistic avant-garde museum.
