Sports promotes athletics The City contributes to the athletes participating in official competitions (17/11/2010)

The Department of Sports City of Murcia, headed by Miguel Cascales, continues the practice of sports such as athletics giving a grant to the Athletics Club Murcia.

The Municipal Corporation has been providing support to projects of sports clubs for the permanence of their teams in official competitions, dissemination and promotion of physical activity practice.

Murcia Athletics Club Sports is involved in the School Age Department of Sports, and offer lectures and conferences.
