The director of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography offers a lecture at the University of Murcia (17/11/2010)

The director of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography, Eduardo Balguerías will offer morning, day 18, at 12:00 hours, a conference room in the degrees of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Campus de Espinardo, where he will speak on the contributions of that oceanographic research agency in the Mediterranean.

Balguerías has held various positions at the Institute of Oceanography, which has mainly developed lines of research related to assessment and management of renewable marine living resources, fisheries biology and marine ecology.

This conference is part of the activities of Campus Mare Nostrum 37/38, in which the Institute of Oceanography is a participating agency.

Likewise, Professor Marcos Pérez López will speak on day 19, at the same time and place, on "poisoning of wildlife in Spain: the experience of Cáceres Toxicology Service."
