Jorge Drexler recently appointed Goodwill Ambassador for Water in Latin America on behalf of the Cooperation Fund for Water and Sanitation (Ministry of International Cooperation and Chair of the Spanish Agency for International Development).
It has also been nominated for four Latin Grammy categories for his new album Amar plot, and awarded on 10 September with the Order of Isabel the Catholic grade parcel.
This Order has been granted by the Spanish Crown for his contribution to the rapprochement of Spain and Uruguay.
