The Councillor for Environment and Urban Quality, Adela Martinez-Cacho has received students from the Adult Education Center SEP Ilucia of Santisteban del Puerto (Jaén) to be the winners in the adult category, the national award '+ Bio & Life 'which gives the Local Governments Network of Biodiversity, which is part Murcia.
Thus, the 43 students of this center, aged between 25 and 65, were rewarded with a week-long visit to Murcia to meet its environmental richness.
This trip was proposed by the Department of Environment Local Government Network.
During these days have done various activities in the CEMACAM and visited places such as Murcia, Abarán, Cartagena and Archena.
This first edition of the Prize "+ BIO + LIFE" Network of Local Governments Biodiversity 2010 (FEMP) has the fundamental objective of contributing to education and awareness in a specific and fundamental conservation of biodiversity.
From the critical perspective and imaginative students, finds the analysis and the assessment of surrounding realities and the factors that a more substantial impact on the environment.
Thus, participants had to perform an information campaign, awareness and environmental education aimed at the inhabitants of his village, to raise awareness and promote the environmental improvement of their immediate environment and create a journal on biodiversity analyzing possible causes of loss and conservation solutions.
