Municipal plenary has approved this morning, with votes for the Municipal People's Party, against the Socialist Municipal Group and the non-IU-LV, urging the National Government to put in place "immediately" the office Main Post of the Plaza Circular.
This motion has been filed by the Municipal People's Party spokesman, Nuria Fuentes after the refusal of the Government Delegate in the region to give a specific date for its opening, after publicly demanding the council.
Thus, the motion points out that "in 2004, the government of Jose Maria Aznar approved an allocation of almost 3 million euros to the renovation and modernization of the Main Post Office, located in Plaza Circular of Murcia. would have to wait until 2008, no less than four years later, to finally begin the works. "
According to sources, "it was not until March this year 2010 when we began to have some news about the status and progress of the works: So, after almost two years of closing, we would announce the awaited opening and transfer of services and staff in the summer. The motion ends by stating that "unfortunately, Murcia are used to be, not forgetfulness, but pure and simple abuse by the Zapatero government's investment and infrastructure: lamentable examples of this are the District Police Station del Carmen, that seven years later is still open, the Civil Guard barracks in the Green and Torreagüera Sangonera, which although the municipality has given the floor for years has not been a single stone "
