The University of Murcia opened yesterday at the Palace Almudí, exposure of the winning works and selected in the XI Area Painting Prize of Plastic Arts of the institution, sponsored by the Foundation award of 8,000 euros Vicente Fuentes.

The event included the delivery of the first prize Ferran Gisbert Carbonell, Valencia, and honorable mentions of the Valencian also Salvador Ribes García Villalba and Daniel Jordan.

Next to the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, participated in the event the award sponsor, Francisco Fuentes, the councilors of Culture and Education and Youth of the Municipality of Murcia, and María Dolores Barnuevo Fatima Sanchez, and the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Francisco Guillermo Diaz, among others.
