The University of Murcia got a savings of 200,000 euros with the closure of buildings last August, in the austerity plan approved by the government team and will be applied also in the upcoming holiday season.
The Vice President for Business and Infrastructure, who is behind this plan, is scheduled to be closed to the public most of the facilities in the holiday periods of Christmas and Easter and Spring Festival.
The measure will extend from December to Saturday, thus contributing to saving the cost of water, energy and others.
In any case, the charge of the schools will enable restricted access to the schedule as necessary.
The Vice President has asked deans, directors of centers and the various services responsible for both the proposals as they deem appropriate as their contribution to this plan of austerity.
