The University of Murcia has opened the deadline until November 5 for the nomination to XI Anonymous Solidarity Award, which was organized by the School of Social Work and Volunteers Platform Region recognizes the voluntary activity, humanitarian and disinterested performed routinely.
In this award eligible individuals who reside in the Region of Murcia, which until now have not received public recognition for their work, said today at a press conference by the dean of the faculty, Enrique Pastor, and President of the Platform, Roberto Barceló.
The applications can be submitted by individuals or legal entities may be mailed or delivered at the School of Social Work (Espinardo campus) or at the headquarters of that platform.
The prize, consisting of a sculpture by Antonio Campillo, will be delivered in December to coincide with the commemoration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Francisco Guillermo Diaz, who presided over the ceremony in Convalescence, noted that the social model based on values and actions aimed at solidarity is one of the underpinnings of the University of Murcia, "not only institution that trains professionals, but also citizens. "
