Aguas de Murcia and the City have been working on planning the necessary infrastructure to solve existing drainage problems in certain parts of the city, and to service new urban developments.
Thus, Miguel Angel Blanco Avenue are to install 1,436 meters of collector of 1.5 and 1.8 meters in diameter that will intercept the water circulating through the existing drainage system at the existing roundabout at the intersection with Mulberry Street Avenida Miguel Angel Blanco.
In this way the water will be channeled towards a pumping station next to the rail Juan Frutos.
From here, drive out two lines: one for sewage and one for storm water will flow through the avenue of progress toward the existing collector on the south bank of the Canal du Reguerón.
According to forecasts, this collector's Edge will be ready late next year, with the estimated budget for implementing the works of four million euros.
