The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light this morning to the project and the specifications of 10 paving of roadways and sidewalks, asphalt and construction of new sidewalks in the villages of Zeneta, Sangonera la Verde, Casillas, The Garres, Javalí New Torreagüera, Barriomar-La Purisima, Cobatillas, Espinardo, Los Ramos, Bath & Pauper, Patiño, Boatmen, Gea and Truyols, El Palmar, Bacons Bridge, Santo Angelo and Dolores.
These projects are the result of a collaboration agreement signed between the President of the Autonomous Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, and the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Angel House, which will allow the districts to receive an injection of 5.9 billion euros, funded by the Autonomous Community.
These 20 projects (in 19 districts), which received the green light from the Governing Board, are part of the 55 construction projects to be implemented between 2010 and 2011.
The actions foreseen in the agreement, which will begin to develop in the coming months and will generate more than 200 jobs, mostly responding to paving sidewalks and driveways, but also include improved lighting, in particular, for Projects approved today by the Governing Board, six are strengthening the electric lighting
