The Director General of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro, today visited the restoration works carried out in a building of 13 homes in the city center of Murcia with the aid of the Regional Housing Plan 2009-2012.
"These works represent an improvement of the livability and safety for the 13 families who have agreed to aid the rehabilitation of the Regional Housing Plan, which can reach 75 percent of the budget protected works and a maximum grant of 12,100 euros for projects applying for grants, "said the CEO.
The work carried out in this building, located at number 3, Calle Menéndez Pelayo de la capital, provide complete repair of the main front and rear facade, and the courtyards.
Works are also performed to replace the vents.
"From the Department of Public Works and Planning promotes the rehabilitation of housing to provide a higher quality of life for Murcia and adapt the property for the needs of families through a line of support for packaging items building common and is compatible with those for private homes, "said Navarro.
Housing for those seeking aid must be targeted at habitual residence or to lease at least five years and works must be designed to ensure and enhance safe and dry.
