Twenty-five people begin tomorrow your training to become a Civil Defence volunteers.
The courses offered by the Department of Employment, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation, who heads Beatriz Hontoria are free and last 65 hours.
Classes begin this Saturday, October 16, and perform Saturday and Sunday until 13th November from 9am to 14 hours, at the premises of Civil Protection in the Infant (along with local police and the Park Fire).
Volunteers receive training in civil protection, legislation, dangerous goods, fire fighting, communications, first aid (theory and practice), mountain rescue, canine unit and mapping and guidance.
