The City has received two bids to manage the service for twenty years in street cleaning, waste collection and treatment.

The opening session is scheduled for next week, resolving the contest next December.
Remember that the specification includes all the innovations that enhance sustainability and the image of Murcia, while including all extensions as necessary for street cleaning and waste collection in the new growth areas, not forgetting increasing frequency in areas already established.
This specification is the work done by local technicians for more than a year in which neighborhoods and districts have visited to discuss with heads of the various boards, needs and possible improvements to be included in the new contract throughout its duration.
As news of new specifications, including:
路 Cleaning roads and waste collection: It expands to new areas the Eixample North and South part of Ronda, in addition to expanding areas of villages.
路 Plant for treatment: You will have greater capacity to receive and process, greater system availability, increased automation, greater throughput and improved operability.
The new statement provides an extension of the landfill and the use of renewable energy plant
路 Ecoparque: It provides an approximation of the Murcia ecoparks creating new facilities around the city in order to bring them to Murcia.
Also includes the extension of mobile ecoparks service.
路 Containers: The burying at least 400 new waste collection points and selective and almost all of the city will charge collection system side.
The statement includes the creation of a special system that considers the particular historic Murcia (and you can not bury containers at certain points) and eliminated the visual impact of the containers.
