Sebastián García Thomas will serve as council vacancy in the Municipal Socialist Group in the city of Murcia after the resignation of José María Alarcón in plenary last September, confirmed today the secretary general of the PSOE in Murcia, Pedro Lopez.
Lopez explained that the deputy in the Congress of Deputies, Javier Marmol was next in the order of the PSOE's electoral list in the 2007 municipal elections but, following consultation with the regional leadership PSRM, all parties have agreed now that is inappropriate accumulation of institutional charges.
Marble therefore waive the minutes of council for Sebastián García Tomás, 'Number 11' in that electoral roll.
The secretary general of the PSOE in Murcia thanked the gesture of Javier Marble and highlights the important role it is performing as a deputy in the House of Representatives defending the interests of Murcia and the region, also work very well appreciated by the Parliamentary Group Socialist which holds the post of deputy spokesman at the Commission of Economy and Finance.
In this regard, Lee said that both the municipal and the regional direction of PSRM understand that the future of Javier Marmol is in Madrid.
For its part, Sebastián García Tomás take office as a councilman in the city of Murcia in Parliament this month.
Tomás García is currently director of IES and Roldan Sabino Mora has served as Secretary of Education in PSRM Regional Executive.
He was previously director of MOPU provincial.
