Last procedures to form the City Commission on Gender Equality This morning was held a briefing for all members members (08/10/2010)

The Deputy Mayor for Social Welfare Policy and Equality, María del Carmen Pelegrin, has chaired this morning's briefing prior to the creation of the City Commission for Gender Equality, responding to one of the measures included in the Municipal Plan Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, and will have a very technical nature.

The aim of the commission is monitoring, evaluation and permanent adaptation of the objectives and actions included in the Equality Plan, approved by the full last February.

The agenda of the briefing held this morning in the reception room at City Hall Annex Building were as follows:

- Proposed establishment of the Equality Commission.

- Proposed approval of the performance standards of the same.

- Review of the proceedings of the Municipal Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men by each of the councils to date.

- Schedule of performances.

- Proposals for 2011.
