The socialist mayor José Zapata called on Monday Councilman Infrastructure and Community Services, Jose Arce, and the manager of Aguas de Murcia, José Albalalejo, a solution to bad smells that occur in the Paseo de Corvera due to network through the sewer grates scuppers rainwater collection and even, in some cases, in their own homes and businesses.
"At the moment we still do not receive an answer," said Zapata, who reports that neighborhood residents were tired of the smell, have begun collecting signatures to petition the City Council to resolve this situation permanently, as they have been contact the Municipal Board in the area, but the stench persists and the problem is not resolved.
Likewise, the PSOE Councillor has requested the mayor of Infrastructure and the manager of Aguas de Murcia to open a technical investigation on the matter, prepare a detailed report and implement actions to eradicate this problem.
