The Faculty of Law hosts a conference on autonomous ombudsmen (06/10/2010)

The Hall of degrees of the Faculty of Law at the University of Murcia will host the conference to be held tomorrow, day 7, on the activity and powers of autonomous ombudsmen.

The opening will take place at 17:30 hours and will be chaired by the President of the Autonomous Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, to be followed by an analysis of the contents of the Annual Report on the first year of operation of the Ombudsman in the Region Murcia, by the owner, Jose Pablo Ruiz Abellán.

Then, there will be lectures by ombudsmen Rioja and Navarre and a panel discussion on the role of this institution with the participation of professors of law, sociology and political science at the University of Murcia.

The rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, will close this conference organized by the Ombudsman in the Murcia region in collaboration with the College of Political Science and Sociology.
