548 foreign students enrolled in the first quarter of this year at the University of Murcia, which will match the more than 250 who will spend the next four months in this educational institution.
This figure exceeds that of 739 international students studied during the past year at the University of Murcia by any of the existing mobility programs.
By nationality, the vast majority coming from European countries (517), Latin America (85 of which include 34 of the Dominican Republic and 13 Argentine children of immigrants from Murcia), United States (57) and China (21).
In parallel, about 900 students held Murcia part of their studies at foreign universities, compared with 772 of the previous year.
This year, the internationalization of the educational institution will be enhanced by joining the Erasmus Mundus project, which will send 25 students to various Asian universities.
Conversely, the University has received these days to 32 Asian students, as well as 20 of the Communication University of China.
International mobility has also been a significant increase of trainees, for the sake, among others, of Erasmus Practice and Teaching program in the UK, France, Mexico, Paraguay and Argentina.
