About 4,500 people have filled this afternoon the parade ground of the Artillery Barracks during the celebration of the "Grand Gala" for the elderly, as is traditionally organized by the Department of Social Welfare, Gender Equality Policies and Citizenship and CajaMurcia Foundation.
As in previous years, the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, did not want to miss your appointment and have come to the site of the Cartagena street to greet and welcome attendees.
Also attended by the municipal department responsible for Social Welfare, Maria del Carmen Pelegrin manager CajaMurcia Foundation, Pascual Martínez, and Pilar Megía councilors and Beatriz Hontoria. The "Grand Gala of the Elderly", which this year celebrates its XII edition, Lolita Flores has had guest artist while Oche Cortés has been the host of the event.
With its celebration is intended to promote coexistence among the elderly in the municipality through a fun activity.
At the same are invited the 76 centers and 3 centers during the day and the city has arranged 65 buses to facilitate the travel of participants to the venue of the party.
Red Cross, local police, Telecare Mobile Unit and Fire will also be present on site to ensure the security and peace of the people gathered.
