The University of Murcia hosts until October 2, in the House of Arts, a symposium on the search for information, with the notable presence of Thomas Daniel Wilson, who will be sworn in tomorrow, 30 honorary doctorates from the educational institution.
Seminars and conferences dealing with the opening day of the latest theories and information models, selection and use of sources or processes search and information retrieval.
Daniel Thomas Wilson, a professor at the University of Sheffield and a pioneer in the introduction and further development of the concept of Information Management, is responsible for chairing the conference organizing committee.
The speech of the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, inaugurating the conference, was preceded by speeches from Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Information, José Vicente Rodriguez, CEO of Universities and Scientific Policy, Eduardo Osuna, and Wilson own teacher.
