The School of Osteopathy, center recently affiliated with the University of Murcia, opened the first Masters in Osteopathy, thus formalizes a university degree training in this discipline.
Ginés Domenech, academic director of the Master and Professor of Human Anatomy and Psychobiology, referred to the "need for a curriculum," which aims to "quality education and that students learn to investigate, hence they have methodological subjects."
With a length of 1,500 teaching hours spread over two years, and subsequently the possibility of a doctorate, the master will be used to acquire, Domenech said, "about the human body, mainly anatomical knowledge to study Osteopathy."
The number of hours also discussed the School's director, José Antonio Soler, for whom his most of the teaching and practical content differentiates these studies of other deals being offered in some Spanish universities.
In the opening ceremony, held at the premises of the school, José Antonio Soler, said he will offer "training in Osteopathy at the highest quality at European level and with a highly qualified teacher", while thanking University of Murcia for their support for the implementation of the graduate.
The rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, closed the event by recalling the importance of moving from being a master himself to one officer, and encouraged teachers and students to make a reference Osteopathy inside and outside the Region of Murcia.
