Murcia City Council has convened this afternoon at 19.30 hours, an Assembly Beniaján City Hall to introduce the project to build overlooked an alternative route to improve access to the Rincon de Villanueva.
Councilmen Fernando and Maria del Carmen Berberena Pelegrín attend the meeting, along with the headman of the village, Francisco Hernández.
The residents of Rincon de Villanueva understand that the New Beniaján Avenue, which links the Fica with the curve of Canute (Beniaján), we can make access to their homes, and Murcia Beniaján, the City proposes as a solution to build a pararelo alternative road to the new Avenue, which joins the Rincon de Villanueva lane with the curve of Canute.
It is a road to be built in a month, with sidewalks, one lane in each direction and lighting, safe and fast.
The solution proposed by the locals, which are about thirty houses, is to place a traffic islands and the New Avenue Beniaján to make all the turns.
A viable solution because this new avenue is regarded as a fast road, without lights and with few intersections, and such proposals would slow down traffic considerably.
New Beniaján Avenue, about three kilometers long, will allow the 30,000 residents of Beniaján, TorreagĂźera, bouquets, paws, etc., covering the distance between the curve Fica and Canute in five minutes, saving more twenty minutes if you use the current road.
This avenue is an alternative to road Beniaján.
Both the New Beniaján Avenue, as the alternative road for residents of the area of Rincon de Villanueva will be open to traffic in late October.
This alternative road, which the City already has the land, closer to the residents of Rincon de Villanueva to bus stops, pharmacies, shops, schools, more secure and faster than the roads they use today.
Berberena recalled that the draft of the new Avenida de Beniaján already been submitted to the neighbors more than a year and a half, but had no protest, and alternative road construction has been exposed by the headman of Beniaján to the inhabitants of the area.
