Murcia University today presented the four awards of V short story writing contest for students with an Erasmus, who are sponsored by the Mall Thader with 18,000 euros.
Prime Permian worth 9,000 euros, went to Irene Marcos García-Barbero, while the second, 4,000 euros was for Marta Gómez Moreno.
The third and fourth prize of 3,000 and 2,000 euros, went to Bethlehem and Victor Tortosa Pujante Guillamón Peral, respectively.
The amount of the awards will serve to help defray the rooms of students in European universities.
The delivery of the checks and diplomas took place in the building of convalescence in the presence of the Rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, the rector of International Relations and Innovation, Pilar Arnaiz, and Managing Director of Shopping Centers Metrovacesa José Antonio Limpo.
The ceremony was also attended by members of the jury that chose the winning stories and the head of International Relations at the University, Matías Balibrea, who was in charge of reading the ruling.
On the other hand, the University hosted a reception for foreign students pursuing their studies during this semester in an educational institution.
Institutional reception marks the beginning of leisure and cultural events with which the University of Murcia welcomes these students.
Among the activities of the International Welcome Week can be recorded visits to the cities of Granada and Cartagena, museums Salzillo and Ciudad de Murcia, a Spanish film session, a night of tapas and a day at the beach.
