The University of Murcia will be responsible for designing the governance of information technology to be introduced in Spanish universities.
The Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), following an open call to all of them have chosen to Murcia for their knowledge of government information technology and the implementation of projects on them.
The objective of the design will manage the assessment process of a university in this field which includes data collection and analysis thereof, to analyze its maturity and its possible deviations.
To carry out this work, the University of Murcia and the CRUE will sign a cooperation agreement by which the first will receive a grant of 74,000 euros.
